Energy Networks

Modern and performing energy networks

ETDE improves and facilitates energy distribution transport: electricity, water and gas thanks to its reliable and performing networks. From design to delivery of these networks, it accompanies its customers by responding to the operational and environmental expectations related to these activities. Reactivity, proximity and a service-based mind set drive our employees and allow them to rapidly intervene when there are breakdowns or natural catastrophes.

Electrical networks: from substations to buried lines and networks

Electricity is ETDE’s historical core job. It controls the entire value stream and manages production infrastructures (nuclear - renewable energies), from transport to transformation and distribution of electricity:

  • Foundations for pylons and substations;
  • Low, medium, high and very high voltage;
  • Substations: renovation and construction.

Whenever possible, in cities, ETDE proposes solutions involving buried electricity lines. It thus preserves the character of our historical territories whilst guaranteeing reliable and performing electrical infrastructures.

In difficult territories, ETDE is able to adapt and propose innovative solutions (helicopters, micro-trenchers, etc.) to respond to the uniqueness of each project.

Water, waste water and gas

From the spring to consumption, ETDE controls the entire water cycle. From design to maintenance, it is a player in all types of networks:

  • Drinking water (Water supply and distribution);
  • Waste waters;
  • Irrigation.

It also has complementary knowledge in water treatment: waste water treatment plants, water pump houses, etc.
ETDE employees are also active in designing, producing and maintaining gas networks.

ETDE also pilots:

  • Construction and renovation of all types of land;
  • Installation of networks of all diameters and materials;
  • Civil hydraulic engineering work;
  • Carrying out exploratory drilling, pile driving, etc.;
  • Earthworks and connection for gas networks.

Minimising nuisance caused by work

ETDE has put in place many actions to minimise nuisance caused by work for the neighbouring population:

  • Information campaigns: neighbourhood meetings, distribution of flyers explaining what is being done, targeted information in real time for the population directly impacted by work being done;
  • Specific planning for pedestrians;
  • Waste treatment on site and use of waste to fill trenches.
