Making sustainably performing facilities

Buildings currently consume 40% of the energy. Video conferencing, air conditioning, video-protection; buildings have more and more active equipment but must consume less and less. Companies, communities and administrations share the same concern: controlling and reducing their energy consumption at an optimised cost with regard to the expected return on investment. ETDE, expert in energy performance, brings them global or customised solutions for sustainably performing facilities.

As the Energy and Services Division of Bouygues Construction, ETDE intervenes in designing, installation, running and maintaining technical and technological systems in facilities: energy management, fluids, communication systems, safety, etc. It also proposes a wide range of services for users (energy management, reception, catering, garden care, etc.).

Reducing energy consumption

The French Environmental Grenelle set forth ambitious objectives to reduce energy consumption in buildings: generalisation of low energy buildings (LEB) by 2012 and positive energy buildings by 2020. As for existing buildings, they will have to have reduce their energy consumption by at least 38% during the same period. In new construction (LEB, BEPOS, etc.) or in renovation, because of its vast experience managing facilities, ETDE can propose many solutions to accompany its customers to reduce their energy consumption:

  • Diagnostics and energy consumption audits;
  • Carbon footprints;
  • Exact consumption monitoring and adaptation of contracts;
  • Analysis of the performance of buildings and their equipment;
  • Improvement or installation of technical systems (solar air conditioning, production of renewable energy, wood furnaces, etc.);
  • User awareness building.

A commitment for long term results

ETDE also accompanies Bouygues Construction and Public Works subsidiaries to propose Public-Private Partnerships in the design, construction and use stages. On these projects, as with Energy Performance Contracts, ETDE commits itself in the long term on performance indicators established upstream with the customer.
With Hypervision®, its system of assistance in energy efficiency, ETDE proposes a win-win relationship, founded on transparency and trust. Hypervison, a technical collection, statistic analysis, monitoring, simulation and forecast platform, obtains information on:

  • Energy consumption;
  • Comfort levels;
  • The availability and efficiency of equipment;
  • Detection of influential parameters concerning consumption.
