Energy Workers' Guild

ETDE set up the Energy Workers' Guild in 1990, along the lines of the Compagnons du Minorange guild founded by Francis Bouygues in 1963 to reward and encourage key workers in the Bouygues group.

The purposes of the guild are to promote corporate spirit, develop a deep-running appreciation of a job well done, and propagate the values of respect, safety and determination. The guild also performs an ambassadorial function for ETDE, furthering the company's reputation in its contact with the outside world, through education and other initiatives.
Members of the Energy Workers' Guild possess unique know-how and experience, which enables the company to achieve top-class performance on complex projects and satisfy the expectations of the most demanding customers. Guild members also perform a valuable mentoring and training function, which involves guiding young recruits through the skills development process and helping them get settled into their new jobs.
They also conduct reviews of general-interest issues such as safety, equipment, communications, etc.

Membership of the Energy Workers' Guild is marked by a special badge, which also shows the member's rank within the guild (one, two or three stars). And guild members enjoy special privileges as regards training, special events, welfare packages, etc.
The ETDE workforce includes 238 members of the Energy Workers' Guild in all company units, in France and all over the world.
