ETDE is
committed to the Kyoto Protocol
 |
In all its business operations, ETDE
is respectful of the environment
Protection of the environment is an ETDE priority.
As well as striving to minimise nuisance (for
example by cutting down noise and providing the
fullest possible information on its projects to
neighbouring communities), ETDE sees opportunity
in today’s environmental challenges. With
its carbon balance expertise, ETDE is ideally
placed to offer its clients turnkey projects on
environmental quality and sustainable construction,
effectively contributing to the cutback in greenhouse
gas emissions.

Examples of ETDE best practice
 |
In
its Facility Management operations, ETDE makes
extensive use of green products,
environmentally sound and less toxic to users.
|
 |
In
its city lighting operations, ETDE teams use
environment-friendly aerial bucket trucks fitted
with waste sorting bins and electric lifts.
Electric vehicles are being phased
in for maintenance operations.
|
 |
ETDE
supports the group-wide awareness-raising campaign
launched by Bouygues Construction, based on
ten pro-environmental actions,
which, when followed every day by a workforce
of 13,000 people, add up to a very big effect.
Local examples of best practice (such as car
sharing at head office) are propagated via the
Sustainable Development intranet. |
