>> Ritz Carlton Hotel, Dubai (€40m)

Acting on behalf of Bouygues Bâtiment International, ETDE participated in the construction of the Ritz-Carlton, in a 50/50 joint venture with Verger Delporte Emirates (€20m for ETDE). The project involves a 340-room hotel, 124 Ritz-Carlton apartments and 323 apartments destined for sale. ETDE is managing all the technical lots: electricity (transformer stations, ground power units, 130 km of power and lighting cables), air-conditioning (air treatment stations, refrigeration, 52 km of chilled water distribution networks) and plumbing (97 km of distribution and exhaust pipes). The turnkey design and planning project will involve up to 600 employees. Work began in January 2007 for delivery end 2008. This was ETDE’s first project in Dubai.


>> Arena Plaza shopping mall – Budapest (e14m)

The Plaza Centers group awarded ETDE Hungary, ETDE’s Hungarian subsidiary specialising in climatic and thermal engineering, the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) and fire protection lots, as well as the technical management design of the buildings at Arena Plaza.
This shopping mall in the centre of the capital is one of the biggest projects in Hungary, occupying 190,000 m², including two parking levels, 200 shops and 22 cinema halls.
In peak periods, the work has involved up to 700 people. This major project, begun in March 2007, was completed in a record ten months.


>> “Cœur Défense” real estate complex, La Défense (Paris)

ETDE managed the fire detection and interphone security system for Europe’s biggest real estate complex "Cœur Défense" located near Paris and comprising two 39-storey towers and three 9-level buildings.
This complex project was completed in 18 months (including studies) and involved installation of equipment (7,000 fire detector heads, 4,000 fire prevention valves), tests and operationalisation.


>> Stade de France (Saint-Denis)

At the Stade de France national stadium (over 80,000 seats), located in Saint-Denis (North Paris), ETDE Networks and Communications is managing the daily operation of the telephony system 24/7: 650 landlines, 200 DECT phones, as well as the public address and video distribution systems. In addition, ETDE is responsible for the facilities management (telephony, video distribution, public address) for all major events (concerts, matches) held at the venue.


>> Velizy Campus, future Dassault Systèmes head office

This project, with its 60,000 m² superstructure and 55,000 m² infrastructure, comprises four buildings devoted to information software research and development. SNC Latecoère et Sésame Conseil, awarding authority and awarding authority representative, awarded ETDE electrical and thermal engineering the strong currents, three coupled ground power units, the fire safety and security system, as well as the voice-data-image lot. The entire project is being delivered as a grouping (with ETDE as authorised representative).


>> Interxion Data Centre (€12,6m)

Interxion, the Dutch web hosting company, have awarded ETDE electrical and thermal engineering Ile-de-France the contract for the turnkey construction of a 2,000 m² data centre, including all technical lots: air-conditioning, strong and weak currents. In five months the following have been installed: an EDF offtake station, three ground power units of 3,000 KVA output, a high-tension emergency switchboard, three set-up transformers, a high-voltage emergency switchboard, 32 low-voltage switchboards. This is an equally important project for ETDE in terms of weak currents, with 19 CCTV cameras, access controls, intrusion detection, centralised building management, interphone system, fire detection and Voice, Data, Image wiring.
