Public lighting in London
EHT lines in Finland

>> ETDE and wind farms
ETDE installed the electrical networks at six wind farms in the north of France. 50 km of trenches and 65 km of high tension and fibre optics cables were laid, linking each of the wind engines to the offtake stations supplying the EDF distribution network. In total, the 46 wind engines represent 80 MW of global power, the equivalent of the annual consumption of 20,000 households.
>> Private-Public Partnerships for public lighting in London (UK)
David Webster, ETDE’s UK public lighting subsidiary, is the contractor for four public-private partnerships in London (the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, Lambeth et Brent), with over 1 million residents. These four contracts, with durations of 30 to 35 years, represent more than 60,000 lighting points. ETDE is responsible for the energy provision, the replacement of run-down infrastructure, the maintenance and upkeep of the lighting.
>> EHT lines in Finland (€8m)
Fingrid (Finland’s Electricity Transmission Network) has awarded ETDE the reconstruction of a 110 KV extra-high tension line stretching 82 km along the west coast of Finland. The main difficulty of the project lies in carrying out the work without interrupting supply to the electricity stations, which provide the region’s electricity, located along the line. This is the first time a French company has worked on a high-tension line in Finland.
>> High-speed networks in France
ETDE has developed over 4,000 km of high-speed networks in France, serving 4 million people and opening up 3,000 previously isolated communities. Key clients include: Charente-Maritime, the Limoges region, the Loire départements, and the Sarthe and Maine-et-Loire regions. A number of techniques have been used to complete these networks: buried fibre optics (using micro-trenchers resulting in shorter lead times and reduced disruption to local residents), fibre optic wrapped on EHT lines, Wimax aerial relay … |
